Pastor Alex & Lindsay Kazemi
Alex was born in Iran and raised in Sweden. At age 21, he was a multiple Swedish and Nordic Thai-Boxing champion pursuing the dream of becoming a world champion one day. After years of his mother praying faithfully for him, his brother invited him to church one Sunday morning. That morning he experienced the unconditional love of God, gave his life to Jesus Christ, and was set free. From that day on, his dream changed from wanting to be the champion to serving the Only True Champion. Alex met his wife Lindsay on a mission trip to Armenia. Before the meeting, they were both in seasons of growth in the Word of God, serving in internships with the International House of Prayer (IHOP) and Youth With A Mission (YWAM). After marrying, they moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, where Alex attended Bible college while working for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. He graduated from Charis Bible College in 2017. They and their children relocated back to Ohio in 2018 to be part of the planting of Identity Church, where Alex served five years as Associate Pastor. He and his family were sent from Identity Church with a team to plant Crown Chapel in Lee County in 2023. Alex and his wife Lindsay are so excited to guide the Crown Chapel family to the abundant life offered through a relationship with Jesus Christ! CrownChapel
