As we meditate on Jesus’ prayer, we make time this week for private prayer.

Our personal prayer lives only serve to enhance our times of corporate prayer and our time serving the Body of Christ.

We are like God, but He is not like us. It is through God that we have dominion. Genesis 1:26

God did not withhold the Son from us, why do we think He would withhold the Holy Spirit from us?

We don’t earn the Holy Spirit. Jesus gave the disciples the Holy Spirit, but they had to receive. John 20

God has not left us as orphans in our sin. “For

We don’t work our way into being sons! God has already provided a way for us as sons of God.

The prodigal son may have walked away from the Father, but the elder brother walked with an orphaned spirit. We can function as slaves while still going to church.
Instead, we stand in faith in our identity as sons of God.

We have been called to freedom.

We cannot obtain righteousness by works of the law. Galations 3:10-13. Instead, the righteous live by faith.

Every work that is done without the Spirit, even w

Every work that is done without the Spirit, even when done within a church, lacks power. We can speak openly about Jesus and do work for ministries, but live void of the power of God.

Jesus those to do all of life according to what His Father was saying. Let us follow in His example.

Anointing from the Lord is given to bring glory to His name, not to bring glory to our own reputation.

Join us for Family Fun Day on July 2 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Identity Church. Games, prizes, obstacle course, line dancing, food and fellowship with Jesus at the center of it all!
The theme for the day is TREASURES based on Proverbs 2:4-5. We are His treasure but also as we look to the Word, He is our treasure.
This event is free of charge, but advance registration is required no later than Sunday, June 26 at the Identity Church welcome desk.

Do we have eyes to see what God sees when He looks at people?

Jesus spent His life walking in obedience to the will of the Father. His eyes were fixed on what the Father was doing. John 5:19-20

The will of the Father is that we would see and reap the harvest of people. ‭‭John‬ ‭4:34-35‬

The Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth (John 16:13). We ask the Holy Spirit to revel to us what God sees when He looks at the people around us.

It was a joy to connect with folks from our community, as well as beat some folks at corn hole. Thank you for making our picnic a day to remember!
